How Do You Run a Hospital...

With No Electricity?

/ 150

Tens of thousands of people in The Gambia don't have access to even simple healthcare services. The electrical grid- where it exists at all- is unreliable, and hospitals and clinics not connected to it are forced to run on even less reliable, and highly expensive generators. Your simple donation could mean that a nurse will have light when delivering a baby at night, that medicines and blood will be stored in a refrigerator, that there will be clean, running water to wash wounds.

We take these basic health services for granted. But in The Gambia, these health services are not always available due to lack of power. We can change that. In hospitals in The Gambia, solar power save lives.
